Antiplatelet Therapy Response Assessment

New advance form of antiplatelet therapy response assessment is available in our centre to establish the effectiveness of the antiplatelet medications, for instance, aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), ticagrelor
(Brilinta), prasugrel (Effient) and ticlopidine (Ticlid).

This is an in-house service for our valued patients.  This assessment is essential to establish the effectiveness of the blood thinner that the

patient is currently taking; to evaluate if the medicine is working or not working and to assess the bleeding risk.   With this, we are able to help patient to ensure the appropriate medication is used for the treatment and to minimize the bleeding risk.

As antiplatelet medication forms an important part of the treatment for coronary heart disease, this antiplatelet therapy response assessment is
essential for patient with heart artery blockage.
